THE SETTING
DR KD, London's leading clinic for regenerative skin care and groundbreaking wellness treatments, recently opened the doors on its new flagship in East London. Envisioned by founder Dr Karen Doherty and realized in collaboration with designer Max Radford, the space brings together both interior and clinical aesthetics with exceptional refinement.

THE HOSTS
The intimate evening was hosted by LESSE founder Neada Deters and Dr Karen Doherty. one of the industry's leading visionaries and practitioners of regenerative skin care. Every detail of the event was thoughtfully curated in collaboration, to celebrate the new partnership.

THE FOOD
The menu was inspired by the new DR KD clinic and LESSE ingredients. Developed and executed by by Nil Mutluer, co-founder of Soft Studies and chef at Session Arts Club, offerings included amazake-whipped marine cream, rehydrated tremella mushroom, and infused mint, rosemary, and turmeric oils dispensed from scientific beakers and paired with ancient grain sourdough.

THE DRINKS
Guests were served Amie crémant on arrival, followed by beverages created by Nil and inspired by LESSE formulations. A smoked plum and sweet pine resin martini finished with mint oil, and an alcohol-free chamomile and toasted rice iced tea topped with curcuma foam.

THE CROWD
The guest list brought together a cross-section of London’s creative and wellness community with friends of LESSE and DR KD from across beauty, design, fashion, art, and media.

THE CONVERSATION
Dr Karen shared her inspiration for the new clinic and, together with Neada, revealed the aligned philosophy that led to the launch of the DR KD x LESSE Facial. From a united focus on regenerative practices for skin longevity to the importance of ritual, over routine.
