As I grow, I want to embrace all facets of my spirit. I’m a certified holistic nutritionist and painter living in New York City, in a one bedroom apartment nestled away in Chinatown. I grew up in Southern California, though. This made me sun hungry and slow at heart in the most positive way possible.
There isn’t room for a couch in my cozy Chinatown apartment, but I do have this one grand wicker chair that has held me when nothing or no one else could. I love my chair — it’s my favorite item in my space and the best place to read. Authors and artists, and loved ones, have shaped me into who I am. The more I love them, the more they have shaped me.
Love is what gets me up in the morning. Whether it’s the love inside that I have for myself or the love that I may receive from others. When I wake up, I have my coffee, head to the gym and then my day is underway. Right now, in terms of my day-to-day beauty routine, less is more. I use natural products more often than not.
Beauty comes from within. Without magic in the eyes, what is beautiful about someone? I mostly see beauty in kindness, but it’s everywhere and all around. Personally, I feel most beautiful when I let go of what I cannot change and push myself to accept who I am and what I can do.

I dream of moving out of the United States and living in another country. I feel most alive when traveling, but would love to experience somewhere else for an extended amount of time.
I’ve learned to live and let live. My previous break up changed a lot for me, for the better. Control is counterproductive. Best advice for life? Let it go. In five years, I want to be in an even happier place — I’m working on letting go of anything that doesn’t serve me. My greatest wish for myself and all of humanity is peace.
