The thought of another day as a blank page –– tabula rasa –– is what gets me out of bed in the morning. It’s important for me not feel rushed in the morning and take the time to start the day off right. As soon as I wake up I’ll put on some relaxing music (I’m currently listening to a beautiful Spotify playlist called Gentle Classical) and have a glass or two of salt water. For my morning beauty ritual, I run an ice cube over my face to wake up my skin and de puff. Then splash on some toner followed by Embryolysse and an SPF cream.
In the evening I cleanse my skin with an oil cleanser and again ice cube, tone, and before my cream, I use LESSE serum. I give my face a lymph drainage massage as I apply the oil. It really helps it sink in and also keeps things moving and circulating under the skin’s surface. I don’t like to complicate things and use too much on myself. Less is always more when it comes to skin care. Keeping things natural and organic has always been intuitive. Harsh products and peels scare me. I think you need to be gentle and kind to your skin.
Being content with yourself and all the little things you perceive as imperfections is where true beauty comes from. I feel most beautiful and most alive in similar circumstances; I feel most beautiful when I’m happy and I feel most alive when I’m with the people I love –– but also when I’m learning, or after a run.

I wish I had known years ago that we have very little control over the things that happen to us and the twists and turns of our lives. It’s only in how we react to those moments that we have control over. I hope that in a few years from now, I’ll mentally, spiritually and physically be in an even better place –– a better version of myself. I hope to continue modeling for a couple more years but one day be on the other side of the camera, behind the scenes, having more of a creative input. Maybe living in New York, Paris or Belgrade. Or living between the three.
